Renzo Zavanella

(Mantova, 1900 – Milano, 1988)

A designer and intellectual able to profoundly influence the project’s culture during the post-World War II period, Renzo Zavanella stood out for his unusual creative approach. He sensed the potential of design, typified by construction’s sincerity and new materials’ expressiveness, outside the conventional interior real. He thus ennobled the means of transportation by creating a dialectic between residential and “mobile homes” design.
