BRAZILIAN DESIGN

Brazilian design can look back on more than half a century of modern design history. At the beginning was initially strongly influenced by European design ideas, combined with African and tropical influences and it has since developed its own, unmistakably unique Brazilian aesthetic.

Masters such as Tenreiro, Bo Bardi, Rodriguez, were the pioneers of Brazilian design and architecture. They ushered in an industry and a way of designing that would be adopted by an entire generation. A generation that includes designers like, Scapinelli and Zalszupin, brought under the spotlight of a research that places them in their international context.
