Brass in patinated finish, black Portoro overlay top
Capturing the language of trees in patinated brass, the ‘Heartwood’ coffee table reinterprets the textures of a tree trunk within a geometric, contemporary form. Using the traditional technique of repoussé, the brass surface is shaped to reveal the natural rhythms and patterns found in the skin of trees—transformed into sculptural texture. A black Portoro semi-precious stone top grounds the piece. Together, they are rooted in nature, yet refined for the indoors.
