Punteggiato Collection
Italy, 2026
Painted perforated sheet metal, upholstered in Rubelli Punteggiato fabric, designed by Gio Ponti in 1934
Designed by Andrea Mancuso, the Punteggiato armchair develops the collection’s language into a more articulated and enveloping form. The perforated aluminum structure defines both geometry and support, combining lightness with structural integrity. Completed with cushions upholstered in Rubelli’s historic Punteggiato fabric, designed by Gio Ponti in the 1930s and first presented at the 1934 Venice Biennale, the piece creates a continuity between surface and pattern, where textile and metal interact in a balanced composition that merges industrial clarity with decorative refinement.
