Produced in Milan, Italy, circa 1972, this pair of rare vintage Quick-Change sofas by Gabriella Crespi belongs to the celebrated Plurimi series. The name directly references the model’s ingenious foldable structure, designed to transform with simple, fluid gestures and to adapt effortlessly to evolving spatial needs. Conceived as a tribute to the Venetian postwar artist Emilio Vedova, the visionary Plurimi series included metamorphic furnitures that explore the expressive and evolutionary possibilities of changeable forms, creating interiors in constant dialogue with light, movement, and function. Both sculptural and practical, they embody Crespi’s idea of dynamic, versatile furniture, defined by formal purity and the unexpected poetry of transformation.
