Natural bronze with verdigris finish
Designed by Tipstudio, the Matrice Low Table evokes the liquid dimension of metal, merging the memory of process with contemporary design. Born from a research-driven approach, this low table reinterprets the primordial lost-wax casting method, in which the core is modeled directly in refractory material and layered with wax, without the use of molds. Through stratification, sculpting, and successive immersions in refractory wax at 60°C, each gesture leaves a trace, unifying the material and defining a minimal thickness for its transformation into bronze. The resulting surface is soft, organic, and fluid retaining the memory of its making. Each piece is unique, balancing technical precision and controlled unpredictability.
