The Pentable is a low table defined by an irregular five-sided geometry, where asymmetry becomes a deliberate design gesture. Its name plays on the word “pentacle”, reworked into “table” through an imperfect linguistic shift that mirrors the object’s own formal distortion. Rather than adhering to a fixed geometric order, the piece embraces imbalance and variation, allowing each angle and edge to subtly diverge. This controlled irregularity gives the table a dynamic presence, where structure feels both precise and intentionally unresolved.
