The Peak District armchair appears at first as a classical form, rooted in a visual world inspired by the renowned English national park, where cottages and domestic interiors are defined by a sense of poised, almost ethereal grace. This atmosphere of understated elegance informs the piece, evoking familiar archetypes of traditional seating. Yet these classical references are reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, using three-dimensional programming systems to subtly reshape its structure. The armrests, defined by irregular cuts and controlled distortions, reveal a shift away from pure typology towards a more experimental construction. While the silhouette recalls conventional forms, the chair opens up to a broader spatial perspective, designed to bring a refined and unexpected presence into diverse interiors.
