DESIGNER

Wendy Andreu & Bram Vanderbeke

Wendy Andreu and Bram Vanderbeke are designers whose practices intersect through material exploration, architectural presence, and experimental craftsmanship. Both graduates of the Design Academy Eindhoven (2016), they engage in a dialogue between matter, space, and function—blurring the boundaries between art, architecture, and utility.

Based in Paris, Wendy Andreu investigates material transformation through experimental processes, balancing concept, context, and aesthetics. Her work merges craftsmanship with innovation, revealing unexpected functional outcomes.

Bram Vanderbeke, based in Ghent, creates Architectural Objects—monumental, structured forms that reshape space through stacking, layering, and material interplay. His sculptural yet functional pieces engage with both private and public environments.

Together, Andreu and Vanderbeke share a vision of material-driven research, where process and experimentation lead to new spatial and functional possibilities. Their collaboration bridges disciplines, creating works that are both poetic and pragmatic, intuitive and methodical—offering a distinct synthesis of their design philosophies.
