DESIGNER
Sonia Górecka
Sonia Górecka (born 1993, Warsaw, Poland) is a multimedia artist and designer whose practice explores contemporary translations of local heritage through remediation processes that bridge analogue and digital realms. Her work combines textiles, image-making, and software-driven visual experiments, unfolding through fragments of lore, informal archiving, and speculative gestures that blur belief, memory, and materiality. She is a member of the female textile collective texpol.
"My practice frames local heritage as a process of translation, with stories, textiles, and images—mediated through contemporary technologies—forming new, unstable systems of belief and material memory."
