Nilufar presents Le Pied-à-Terre Cosmopolite at its renowned Via della Spiga venue. Set within an exhibiting space of 70 sqm, the installation curated by Nina Yashar perfectly captures the scale of a pied-à-terre in the heart of Italy’s design and fashion capital.

The space unfolds as a sequence of rooms evoking the intimate, domestic dimension of a private apartment. The ideal owner is an aesthete: a cosmopolitan connoisseur who resides in the city for brief periods but experiences every moment like a local, cultivating social relationships with discreet elegance. The brevity of the stay does not compromise the care in selecting furnishings: timeless vintage icons coexist with contemporary design pieces destined to become classics. Precious materials, carefully calibrated
textures and refined compositions give each room a unique character, transforming the visit into a sensory experience in which the cultivated tastes of the owner are reflected in every design choice.

“I imagined this pied-à-terre as the home of a cosmopolitan collector: a compact space yet intensely lived in, where every object tells a story and design becomes a natural part of everyday life.” Nina Yashar

The exhibition is further enriched by a selection of works from APALAZZOGALLERY. Art and design merge seamlessly, expressing a refined, fluid, and distinctly contemporary vision of living.

The entrance is marked by the Yoko bench by Robison Ferreux Maeght, welcoming guests with an essential sculptural presence. The living area centers around the iconic Super C sofa by Willy Rizzo, a 1970s modular design balancing comfort and strong visual identity. Low tables from the Aphanès collection by Roberto Sironi and Palmalisa Zantedeschi evoke prehistoric forms through rare marbles and pure geometries, alongside Capri tables by Jorge Zalszupin and Fungo lamps by Gabriella Crespi. The space is completed with Capriccio armchairs by George Bighinello and the Pneu Giga carpet by Beppe Caturegli.

A dedicated bar corner features new creations by StudioDanielK, where parchment, mineral and metallic surfaces redefine domestic hospitality with a refined decorative language. Murano glassware from the Borealis collection by NasonMoretti enriches the setting.

The dining area is anchored by the Hexa table by Marco Lavit in collaboration with Azimut Design, combining honeycomb aluminum and amber epoxy resin into a luminous composite surface. Futurum chairs by Axel Einar Hjorth, a Murano glass chandelier by Napoleone Martinuzzi, the Copper Shelf by Carlo Lorenzetti and the CC03 console by Johan Viladrich complete the space.

The master bedroom explores the historic vision of Osvaldo Borsani through a 1939 bed produced by Arredi Borsani Varedo, alongside a wall-mounted console, illuminated bedside table and the L78 floor lamp designed for Tecno. A Venini mirror in Murano glass further highlights the craftsmanship of the Venetian tradition.

Le Pied-à-Terre Cosmopolite reflects Nina Yashar’s distinctive curatorial vision, transforming a 70-sqm apartment into a layered and vibrant environment where collectible design, vintage masterpieces and contemporary creations coexist in perfect harmony.
