Manufactured by Cassina in the 1950s, the mod. 807 armchair was showcased at the X Triennale in Milan in 1954. Also known as Distex, this design is distinguished by its structured armrests, evoking an architectural frame that defines its timeless appeal. Ponti believed that design transcended mere functionality, seeking to harmonize form, creativity, beauty and efficiency.
