Part of Modulon collection, Yoko Due is an experimental project that plays with the SCI-FI codes. It explores contradictions and oppositions, to create something of the holy. What appears to be two giant roughly cut stones are levitating into space. The perceived weight of the shapes is in contradiction with its levitating state. The rugged mass-tinted resine shapes are in conflict with the minimal finish. The final object has something of a 70s Space exploration language, but also something of the holy light of a sanctuary. A warm-pink light is diffused by a mystical shape, creating a feeling of profound peace.
