Lisboa is a tribute to the warmth of wood and the art of comfort, where elegance and function seamlessly intertwine. Inspired by the athmosphere of an intellectual’s home — reminiscent of the journalist in the daily newspaper Lisboa, as envisioned by Italian writer Antonio Tabucchi in his novel Pereira Maintains — Lucia Ippolito imagined a refuge where books fill every corner, nourishing the soul with their timeless presence. From this poetic vision emerged the concept of a refined daybed, accompanied by an armchair and bench, inviting quiet contemplation and the gentle unfolding of new horizons in elegant serenity. The modular sofa’s backrest transforms into a delicate bookshelf that gently divides the space. Crafted from solid wood and colored veneer, this thoughtfully designed niche becomes a serene stage for books and cherished objects, quietly narrating the stories and passions of those who inhabit it.
