Description

Moon Rock collection

Italy, 2021

Laminate marquetry, coloured lacquer, powder-coated steel

Inspired by the craters on the moon and the compositions in the Solar System, the Moon Rock series evoke dreamy lunar landscapes. Exclusively crafted for Nilufar in collaboration with Abet Laminati, the collection uses a marquetry technique to celebrate the qualities of laminates, treating each one like a rare wood veneers rather than a cheap substitute.
