With a deep passion for art and drawing, Gio Ponti created numerous works throughout his career, often using them to enrich his personal letters. Dated in the 1970s, this ticket was sent to Giovanni Ratto, member of the editorial staff of Domus, the magazine Ponti founded in 1928. A multidisciplinary talent, Ponti investigated art, architecture and design through continuous research into shapes, materials and the essence of reality. Ponti believed that design transcended mere functionality, seeking to harmonize form, creativity, beauty and efficiency.
