(Ponti, Fornaroli, Rosselli) for Villa Tornaghi, known as “Villa del Sole” in Ospedaletti, Italy, circa 1954, this rare pair of bedside tables reflects the lightness and functional elegance that defined Ponti’s post-war design language. Crafted in oak-veneered wood with glass and brass details, they feature sculpted profiles, brass-capped legs, and a cleverly layered composition that balances practicality with architectural refinement. Preserved with their original “Tornaghi Ospedaletti” labels, they remain a rare testament to one of Ponti’s bespoke residential interiors.
