Porcelain, stoneware, glazes
The Barskin series explores the beauty found in ageing, decay, and the quiet dignity of deterioration.
It draws inspiration from the changing bark of birch trees — a symbol of transformation through time.
Each piece balances control and surrender, embracing both precision and unpredictability in the making process. What defines the work is its bold experimental spirit, technical skill, and a growing fascination with surface tension.
