Carpet Trilangolo

Italian-born designer Martino Gamper began his career as an apprentice for a furniture maker in his native south tyrol before studying sculpture under Michelangelo Pistoletto at the Academy of fine arts in Vienna. Today, the london-based gamper designs for leading furniture brands, creates one-off commissions and is active in exhibition design, including his 2009 “stanze e camere” show at the Triennale in Milan.

The Trilangolo carpet represents the designer’s on-going examination of angles, corners and oblique shapes. The striking geometric pattern is offered in two versions: a hand-tufted wool variant in a muted gray and green composition; a hand-knotted wool model in a deep red and blue color scheme.

2023
