In the Vai o Stai project, Maximilian intertwines his work with the story of a tree with a dominant character. Among the most widespread plants in Europe, the Pendulous Beech, tall and greedy for light, tends to create forests of its own, perhaps showing similarities with men. Marchesani emphasizes the metaphor through human material elements: hair and mohair wool are inserted on the ends of the branches, where LEDs light are protected by glass straws. The base is an archipelago of seven islands made of raw earth, which electrifies the whole structure.
