Identifying as an image maker, Audrey Large explores materiality across various mediums and dimensions. The Implicit Surfaces project leverages the digital realm as a space for creative freedom. The surface of each 3D model is hand-sculpted using a pencil on a graphic tablet. This technique produces bas-relief surfaces enriched with textures, shadows, and signs.
