Painted and polished bronze
Crafted in bronze, Jonathan Trayte’s creations combine his broad experiences in other fields—including as a chef and foundry metal worker—with his keen eye for finding the obscure aspects of daily life. Each piece is unique and features a glossy synthetic skin of paint that confer a pop status and an almost edible quality. Reminiscent of food packaging and advertising, the vivid color and motifs exude a tropical vibe, like wild, surreal facsimiles of fruits and vegetables.
