Polished stainless steel
Designed by Kym Ellery as part of the Modern Talismans collection, the Armand Oce desk is conceived as a device for holding space, both physically and symbolically, within the domestic interior. In polished stainless steel, its mirrored surfaces and sculptural supports create a tension between architecture and emotion. The curved base forms a protective perimeter, while elevated elements secure objects materially and metaphorically. Functioning as a contemporary talisman, it carries meaning beyond use, proposing a slower relationship to work where activity becomes ritual and presence acquires symbolic charge.
