Italy, 1940s
Hand-blown Murano glass
Provenance: Hotel Bauer, Venice
An elegant example of Italian lighting from the 1940s, this suspension lamp was crafted in hand-blown Murano glass by master glassmaker Seguso Vetri d’Arte. Originally made for the Hotel Bauer in Venice, it reflects the refined craftsmanship and timeless sophistication of Venetian glassmaking. The translucent spherical lampshade diffuses light with a soft glow, while the Murano glass extends into the stem, creating a continuous visual flow.
