DESIGNER
Alfred Hendrickx

Hendrickx began his career at De Coene Frères, designing modern, functional furniture, and later created a successful collection of exotic wood furniture for Belform. In the 1950s and 1960s, he collaborated with Bovenkamp, designing elegant teak and mahogany pieces. Known for their simplicity, attention to detail, and high-quality materials, Hendrickx’s designs were widely distributed in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. Today, his work is highly sought after by collectors and retro design enthusiasts as iconic examples of Belgian modernism.
