Andre Renou and Pierre Genisset

André Renou (1912-1980) and Jean-Pierre Génisset’s (1911-1998) designs centred functionalism and the reduction of form. Renou had been taught by Louis Sognot in the late 1920s and brought technical knowledge of working in wood. Génisset had a talent for understanding the importance of the final presentation of a concept or project.
