A visual artist originally from Anavissos, he trained in Athens at the Athens Campus of Art & Design specialising in interior architecture. In his practice, he works with ceramics using old and new techniques, often incorporating organic elements into his creations. The hybrid form of his clay vessels is in fact due to the presence of various inserts that he retrieves from the natural world such as stones and metals. Through these, the artist establishes a dialogue with the non-human entities around him. The hybrid nature of his works emphasises the sense of deconstruction and exhaustion linked to the concept of fluidity. He has been creating his ceramic sculptures since 2018. In 2022, the year of his debut at Nilufar, he exhibited the series ‘Epismaltosi’, and participated in several exhibitions including NOMAD Capri and Pad London.
