Christian Pellizzari

Pellizzari was invited to present his first art installation project at NOMAD Capri in July 2022. His Genetic Variations piece was installed in Prior’s garden in Capri’s old monastery. It was his debut work and first design project, a Murano art glass installation created after several months of experimentation, study of forms and new light technology exploring climate change and the capacity of nature to adapt to it. Pellizzari was then invited to make two new installations in Cairo during Art D’Egypt 2022, presenting two pieces from the Genetic Variations series in flexible satin Murano glass.
"My work aims to evoke a sense of hope and reassurance, reminding viewers that despite our efforts to control and shape the environment, nature will ultimately prevail."
Another new project using colored Murano glass for the first time entitled Dandelion was presented during NOMAD in St Moritz in February 2023. Following this he started a collaboration with Nilufar Gallery and the two created together a nature-inspired collection named CLORI that looked to the aesthetic code of Boticelli and which was presented for the first time at NOMAD Capri 2023. At PAD London 2023, Nilufar and Pellizzari exhibited a new piece from the CLORI collection. At Art D’Egypt 2023 in Cairo, he presented a new art piece entitled Abiogenesis.
