Filippo Carandini
Defined by essential forms and a personal chromatic rhythm, the work of Filippo Carandini evolves through a continuous conversation between intuition and expression. Color plays a structural role—often unexpected, it defines the atmosphere of each piece as much as its material presence. His Florentine origins emerge as a subtle nostalgia for a past opulence—a wealth expressed through the use of color and materials, and the memory of a human craftsmanship marked by warm imperfections.
In recent years, his practice has increasingly focused on the handmade dimension of production. He works directly on surfaces through painting and develops forms through manual modeling, allowing each piece to take shape through a physical and immediate process. All works are conceived and produced in Italy in close collaboration with local master craftsmen.
