Marsica Fossati
Marsica Fossati is a Milan-based interior and furniture designer known for her eclectic creativity and meticulous attention to detail. Specialized in luxury hospitality and residential projects, she has worked on numerous prestigious interiors, including high-end restaurants and private residences. Throughout her interior practice, she developed a strong focus on bespoke furnishings and customization, which gradually became a true passion and led her naturally toward collectible product design.
"I define myself as an aesthete. Beauty is often considered subjective, yet I believe it holds an objective value: when aesthetics manifests as a form of expression, it becomes a universal language. Art, form, harmony, proportion, light, and matter speak to everyone, beyond words and cultural differences."
In 2011 she graduated in Interior Design at the European Institute of Design, with a thesis project in yacht design. Her first collaboration with Nilufar began in 2018.
Her work moves freely between past and present, between geometry and emotion, always guided by curiosity and intuition. Marsica loves to experiment in many directions, allowing herself to be inspired by anything: a country, a color, a texture, a mood. Each spark of inspiration becomes a vision that she often transforms into one-of-a-kind pieces.
Her style, intentionally eclectic, reflects the multiplicity of her inner worlds.
