Maximilian Marchesani is of Italian-German descent, with a background in gastronomy and design studies. He works as an industrial design consultant and was raised between the banks of the Po River and Berlin. Currently based in Milan, in 2022 he presented his first light creations.

Obsessed with finding a balance between technology and the organic world, his installations evoke a continuous exchange between human interiority and global phenomena, causes and consequences, past and future.

In April 2023, Nilufar dedicated a solo exhibition, “bì.li.co”, to his work at Via della Spiga. In the same year, his pieces were included in the permanent design collection of the MAXXI Museum, “Museum for the Arts of the 21st Century” in Rome. In 2024, he participated again during the Salone del Mobile at Nilufar Depot, HOMO Faber, and PAD London.

The year 2025 began with an invitation to participate in the main exhibition at the Madrid Design Festival, “THE LINE DREAMS”, held at the Fernán Gómez Theatre.
