DESIGNER
Ricardo Fasanello

Born in São Paulo (Brazil) in 1930, he has always been associated with the practice of drawing, which he cultivated from an early age. Inspired by automotive aesthetics and the concept of speed, his furniture is often characterised by geometric shapes such as circles and spheres. Universally recognised as one of the most important Brazilian designers of all time, capable of masterfully blending refinement and comfort, he worked on the interiors of Oscar Niemeyer’s Brasilia project and is famous for the Mole armchair that won the International Furniture Award in 1961.
