Gabetti & Isola

The architectural studio of Roberto Gabetti (1925–2000) and Aimaro d’Isola (1928) was founded in 1950 in Turin. Both were professors of Architectural Composition at the Polytechnic University of Turin. Their work, including the 1952-56 Turin Stock Exchange building (designed with G. Raineri), reflects their desire to continue Turin’s architectural tradition while reinterpreting Art Nouveau elements. In the 1950s, Gabetti and d’Isola’s studio became known for its focus on design, interior spaces, and material experimentation.
