Robinson Ferreux
Robinson Ferreux Maeght was born and raised in Paris, his childhood is punctuated by art openings and exhibitions at the family foundation in Saint-Paul de Vence. After studying in Australia, Robinson moved to California, where he assisted designer Shawn Stussy. Exposed to modern American and Japanese aesthetics, in both fashion and design, Robinson was taught the beauty of the «handmade» an a solid work ethics when it comes to detail. In 2016, he moved back to Paris where he pursued his carrer in fashion while drawing, painting and surfing on the side.
There is something holy in experimenting with light. Something immensely fulfilling.
After years of Creative Direction for others he dedicates himself to making objects in his own name. His approach is driven by experimentation and physical interaction with materials. With a firm belief that aesthetic truth can be found in an object, and that its so much the material that matters but how you approach it. Robinson presents DELTA at Salone del Mobile 2022, developed in exclusivity for Nilufar Gallery. For this work, he got awarded by the french ministry of culture: “Le FRENCH DESIGN 100” in January 2024. In January 2025 Robinson entered the collection of “Mobilier National”.
