Andrea Branzi
“Today we are witnessing the re-emergence of behaviors that design is struggling to follow…”
Radical architect and designer, Branzi began with the Archizoom group before moving to Milan in 1973. Professor and author of several books, his most seminal meta-designs are showcased at the Centre Pompidou. To design means giving shape to the "weak and widespread" idea, be it in words, drawings or maquettes, as to in a vase as in a landscape. Among the many awards, he received the Compasso d'Oro in 1994.
