Josef Frank

Josef Frank, an Austria-born, Sweden-based designer, is known for a revolutionary and unconventional style that called functionalism into question. While working in the field of furniture and textile design, he proposed a real and deep free-thinking. Values such as comfort, intimacy, rich colors and natural inspirations were at the core of his research. A prolific designer, he realized over thousands of projects for the Swedish company Svenskt Tenn.
