Nanda Vigo
(Milano, 1936)
“We must follow light without resistance. It can only enlighten us.”
A legendary and multifaceted figure, Nanda Vigo investigated the interdisciplinary relationship between art, design and environment. The fil rouge of her art was the reflection on the harmonious, but conflicting relationship between light, form and space. The LED of her iconic Golden Gate lamp were not yet market in Italy at the time and had to be purchased directly from NASA.
