Manufactured in the 1950s, this pair of Hollywood Regency style armchairs by James Mont features a padded wooden frame lined with stitching. The warm tones of the upholstery contrast with the intense black hues of the lacquered wood of the feet and armrests. Mont’s designs set him apart as a singular figure of American Midcentury Design.
