Between 1944 and 1946, Carlo Mollino was commissioned to design the interior of the apartment for Franca and Guglielmo Minola in Turin, complementing his earlier work on Casa M1. The project, more abstract than its predecessor, featured simplified furniture and wall coverings, foreshadowing Mollino’s later style. Notably, the unique coat hanger and bench, crafted by Ferrero in 1945, showcase Mollino’s mastery of sculptural, three-dimensional design, where form and space merge seamlessly.
