The Columnae series presents a striking quadriptych of four cupboards, each varying in height to create a dynamic visual rhythm. At the heart of the design lies a bold exploration of color: layers of acrylic paint are meticulously applied by hand to the cupboard doors, building rich textures and depth. These vibrant surfaces are then sealed under a high-gloss finish, lending the pieces a luminous, almost painterly quality that elevates them beyond mere furniture to expressive works of art. Complementing the signature doors, the cupboards feature sleek metal side panels and handles that introduce a subtle industrial contrast, while the internal wooden structure ensures durability and functionality. Together, these elements forge a harmonious balance between artistic expression and practical design.
