With a deep passion for art and drawing, Gio Ponti created numerous works throughout his career, including Cache toi dans le bois!, dated between the 1960s and 1970s. Depicting an eye amid dense vegetation, this drawing is part of a lifelong project in which the architect explored the intersection of art and design. A multidisciplinary talent, Gio Ponti investigated art, architecture and design through continuous research into shapes, materials and the essence of reality. Ponti believed that design transcended mere functionality, seeking to harmonize form, creativity, beauty and efficiency.
