Hand-blown Murano glass
Designed by Christian Pellizzari, the Arecaceae ceiling lamps evoke the silent majesty of palm trees, translating their archetypal geometry into a suspended sculptural canopy of light. Inspired by the natural rhythm of fronds opening towards the sky, the project captures the essence of the palm as a symbol of resilience, elevation, and timeless presence across Mediterranean landscapes. In Murano glass, the radiating forms unfold like botanical memory, frozen in a moment of organic expansion. The layered structure recalls the fan-like movement of palm leaves swaying in warm air, while the translucent surfaces filter light as if passing through dense tropical foliage at midday.
