Particle is a furniture series designed during Bethan Laura Wood’s residency at the Design Museum, inspired by its location at Butlers Wharf, once a banana warehouse. Reflecting on its history, Bethan created a modular system based on crates and packaging. The design uses faux wood laminates from Abet Laminati, transforming mundane materials into striking patterns inspired by particleboard.
