Extending a research started with the works created for the Terra (in)firma exhibition in 2020, Prescient Vortex appears as a precious silver rock engulfing a swirling transparent mass. In this fusion of organic and synthetic, the rock turns fluid, or the fluid solidifies, forming a fragment of an otherworldly landscape. Evoking fantastical geologies from another cosmos, it suggests a celestial factory as its possible origin. A hidden energy pulses within, inviting the mind to expand into the infinite. The vortex atop the silver rock, with its spiral rhythm, makes the invisible visible, hinting at a mysterious power spot. Vortices naturally concentrate spiritual, electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic energy. Gathering around this dynamic core reminds us that we, too, are vessels of water in constant exchange. Crafted with cutting-edge 3D scanning, modeling, fluid dynamics simulation, and CNC machining, the piece is ultimately sealed by an irreplaceable hand-finished touch.
