Glass components suspended in blue liquids evoke synthetic otherworldly gemmology, fragments of a landscape of wonder extracted from iridescent strata. The surface is shaped from a hybrid material in aluminum powder and polyurethane resin that creates fluctuations of texture. The patchwork of different surface qualities echoes a digital aesthetic, evoking artificial futuristic new forms of geology.
