This rare pair of armchairs was manufactured in the United States by Grosfeld House, furniture company flourished in the late 1930s and 1940s under the leadership of American designer Lorin Jackson. Known for her "Glassic" style, her design blended modern materials – like the glass-like lucite - with a neo-classical flavor.
