Manufactured by Arredoluce in 1957, this mod. 12661 wall lamp was showcased in several Gio Ponti’s projects. That same year, it was exhibited at the Feal house prototype at the XI Triennale in Milan. In 1959, it was also included into the design of Alitalia’s headquarters in New York. With its simple yet captivating form, it stands as a timeless icon. A multidisciplinary talent, Gio Ponti investigated art, architecture and design through continuous research into shapes, materials and the essence of reality. Ponti believed that design transcended mere functionality, seeking to harmonize form, creativity, beauty and efficiency.
