Crafted by Sonia Gorecka, the Slavic Doodles tapestry reimagines the home as a threshold between tradition and transformation. Drawing from the intimate space of the domestic “saint corner,” where everyday objects form small gestures of protection, the work expands this private ritual into a ceremonial scale. Folklore motifs and Slavic craft traditions are reworked, glitched, and rewoven into a new visual language. Rather than being preserved, they are reactivated through reflective patterns that catch and return light, turning the textile into a liminal surface between the familiar and the unknown, tradition and technology.
