TEFAF New York - 2018
New York, USA
for the first time Nilufar is attending TEFAF New York Spring. On this occasion the Gallery presents a refined selection of vintage Italian and Latin American furnitures from the 50s and 60s, united by a common feature: wood. Joaquim Tenreiro, Luis Barragan, Lina Bo Bardi, Carlo Mollino and Gio Ponti approach this material in various ways, each one with their own unmistakable style.
The set is completed by the Gio Ponti' paintings, the two BBPR's chandeliers, the Angelo Lelii's lamps and the red carpet "House Plan" by Martino Gamper.
A game of mirrors emphasizes even more the tones of this warm and enveloping atmosphere, in which the pieces are reflected and multiply in space.
