Drawing inspiration from the distinctive wall patterns of Jørn Utzon’s Can Lis home in Mallorca, the Traces rug captures the essence of architectural memory in a subtle, almost ghostly form. The design feels like a fading imprint, as if remnants of the original motif have been gently worn away by time, leaving behind a spectral echo that invites quiet reflection. Crafted through a meticulous hand-tufted weaving technique using fine wool and natural silk, the rug is infused with an antique vibe, its texture rich with depth and history. The natural silk threads interwoven throughout the design catch the light, adding delicate beams of color that shimmer softly.
